How we got here

The story

Sweatcity Mobile launched in 2023 — a wood-burning sauna on wheels that showed up at races, runs, and events across Austin. In August 2024 we hosted our first run at Casa De Luz with about 30 people. Our last event had over 600 RSVPs. Sweatcity ATX at Casa De Luz is what comes next. A permanent space for the community that's been showing up for almost two years.

Yes — public parking is available at Casa De Luz Village. Free before 8am and after 4pm on weekdays, and free all day on weekends.

Book online at sweatcityatx.com. You can also call, text, or stop by in person. Walk-ins are welcome if space allows.

Swimwear and a change of clothes. Towels and soap are provided. All swimwear styles welcome.

Yes — the sauna, cold plunges, and rinse showers are outside. Changing rooms and private showers are fully enclosed, covered, and stocked with soap and towels.

Our host will walk you through the space and how everything works — as much or as little guidance as you want.

Bookings reserve your space for one hour. If our schedule allows, our team may be able to accommodate a longer stay.

Yes — covered, fully enclosed changing rooms with combination lockers. Private showers with soap and towels included.

Yes — Sweatcity is a shared, co-ed space. Changing areas and private showers are fully enclosed and private.

The sauna is kept at 185°F. One plunge is kept at 45°F, one at 55°F — start at 55 if it's your first time.

We provide reverse osmosis filtered water, electrolytes, and more.
